That park in Gatlinburg you're referring to where that Yo Yo Swings sat was called Fun Mountain. It went out of business. Another park that I went to when I was 10 and again when I was 11 or 12 in the early 90's was Magic World in Pigeon-Forge, TN. Magic World had a Very nice looking Eyerly Spider with black tubs that sat out front of the park. There was a nice, tall Eli Bridge Wheel inside the park & I remember riding it, what fun. The park shut down for good in 1994 though. ✌ There's that Jurassic Park Boat Ride attraction that replaced it. I wish Magic World would come back. Most people that couldn't afford Dollywood went to Magic World instead and it ( to me ) was just as good as Dollywood back then. Dollywood has grown over the years though with all kinds of great coasters now & flat rides. The last time I was in Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge area was the summer of 2009. So yeah, i'm getting the fever of going back again, I miss that area. Myrtle is fun too, but Myrtle doesn't have the coasters like Dollywood has (now days). The only thing Myrtle Beach has now days is that small Ocean Drive Pavilion park in North Myrtle and South Myrtle has those rides at Broadway at the Beach & Family Kingdom, which has that classic Swamp Fox wooden coaster & Chance Giant Wheel sitting out by Ocean Blvd. Growing up and first few years going to Myrtle, I remembered seeing another small park up in North Myrtle. I remember it had a Cobra, Scat, Rock o Plane (I think), & the kiddie Schiff Coaster. It may have also had a Reverchon Himalaya sitting over by the Scat, I was only 6 or 7 at the time. ...back in the mid to late 80's.
